Montréal

Hi,
Last months have been very hard making the shift from Tunisia to Montréal. I’ve got myself installed now having some problems with the college, but I hope to get it all figured out by the time. I’m learning more about programming and I hope in a two to three month to build a little portofolio with all my projects.
I’ll get this blog updated more often since I’m now settled.

Patience..

Just one more week…. and hopfully a new begining shall start. All is needed is patience, when the struggling is still and the end is near.

Lost?

Hi evryone,

It’s been a long time since my last post..again. I actually do miss writing on this blog. I ve been passing some hard times lately. I don’t know if this happens offen but this time I have lost the will to work at anything. It strange and I don’t wich it happens to anyone. I felt Lost since three months ago, but I’m finding my way again .. I hope so…

I’ll restart blogging about computing again, maybe talk more of bare thoughts who knows ?

 

Linux distros

Hi

Well I’m trying to pick up a new distros beside OpenSuse. I decided not to pick an Ubuntu one, there’s no valid argument to that I sahll point, just feelings. Anyway for now my pick would be Fedora but if you have some suggestions feel free to to point them to me. Thanks for helping out in advance

 

Late again T_T

Hi, It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy with school and intership, and somehow messed both of them. It’s kinda hard getting to put both of them a priotity level since they’re equally important. I’m doing my best right now to get things done in time. I’ll post some about OpenSuse 11.1 maybe talk about Ajax and php. Anyways I’ll try to be more productive. See you soon.

 

Intership

Hi,
Actually in this period I’m doing an intership, it’s part of my studies. The good thing is that I’m learnig a lot of things, Not open source thought. I’m focused on LINQ, Entity frameworks and sharpening my Object Oriented programming skills.

I was checking mikeshinoda.com ( He’s in Linkin Park ), and it looks that he got his hand on Protools 8. The amazing thing is that he showed some of it’s feature and actually made an instrumental with it. Rob Bourdon(the band’s drummer) participated in it.

Deeply sorry

Hi again;

It’s been more than a month since I made my last post. I’m sorry about that. But quiet strange the way I’m posting throught this blog is reflecting, somehow, my life. Anyways, I’d like to say that I’ll try and make some more posts. What will be interesting for me is to write some article-like posts. It will be good practice for my english writing.

On the Open source side of things. I heard that Fedora 10 and the new Ubuntu are out .  I would have loved to try them out but I don’t have that much download speed. It will cost me more or less two weeks to download the DVD version of each distros. I’ll try Open Suse 11.1 though. Why I’m I waiting for it ? Because it will be shiped by default with the next Amarok .

Also a fact to mention, I didn’t practiced my Qt programming in a while. I’m workng right now with on a little project with .net and C# and I’ll rewrite it with Qt and C++.
